Question Any Railway Enthusiasts out there?

Hi guys - probably a bit of a long shot on a Vectra-C forum, but you never know if you don't ask!!

We have recently inherited a fairly large collection of railway enthusiast's magazines, and as some of them are pretty old, it seems a bit of a shame to throw them away. I am sure they would appeal to any rail fan - I was just wondering if anyone out there knows of any outlets for these - they don't seems to be too popular on Ebay!

Anyway - listed as follows - I am breaking every rule of Vectra-C sales by not putting a price as I honestly haven't a clue what they are worth - I am more trying to see if anyone has a home for them, than trying to make any major profit.

    15 Heritage Railway (spanning 2003-2006)
    43 Rail Enthusiast (spanning 1982-1987)
    9 Locomotive Journal (1996 editions)
    47 Modern Railway (spanning 1973-2001)
    16 Rail Express (spanning1996-2002)
    6 Traction (spanning 1995-2003)
    9 Railway (spanning 1995-2003)
    13 Steam Railway (spanning1981-1995)
    13 Steam World (spanning 1981-2005 – including Issue 1 from April 1981)
    33 Railway World (spanning 1968-2001)
    100+ Rail Magazine (spanning 1988-2002)

    Assorted individual other railway titles

Also approx 15 assorted railway modelling magazines

Small soft-backed book “BR Diesel Freight in the era of Specialisation” by Michael Oakley (Late 70‘s/early 80’s)

I don't know - just to keep D happy - let's say £100 (but pretty well any offer considered!!) No postage by the way - they are far too heavy to consider posting, but happy to split into separate titles if required.

    Any ideas boys and girls?

If done correctly, you can make about 50p per magazine on eBay UK
The reason magazines don't sell well on eBay UK, is the P&P charges, which almost wipe out their value

I would avoid the trade and exhange agents, as they will pay less than that
If you can provide some photos then I can place a FREE advert on one of my customers websites, PM me for details, and I can virtually guarantee they will sell!
