    I know, i know....

Owner's thought's?.. ditch it,keep it or am contemplating drying the oil off and refitting.

    Would it be worth it?

What engine? I've got one on my 1.8VVT and it seems a bit smoother but that's all.

TBH I've just took mine off and gone back to a standard paper, the paper one if you look has twice the surface area that the K&n has. For the price of the paper one I can change it every 6 months if I want.

So a few responce's regarding keeping it..fair do's. However, the only reason i brought this up is i felt the oil on the filter was messing up my maf!. Every now n then say 6 month's apart the maf fail's so ive put it down to the k&n oil which is on the filter. What am wanting to do is dry it out as way of degreasing it and then sticking it back in.
Mine's the vvt model too, yep i did feel it helped the car,not hugely but rev range felt smoother and a slight improvement through 1st and 2nd.
