NEED A Vehicle Mechanic

as above anyone a Vehicle Mechanic that can fix and do me some repaires i just want to get it done before i go on hoilday as i have a 270 mile trip to bourmouth cv joint outer drplinks just a clicking noise when turning right only just starting doing it i just rather get it fixed asap

I'd have happily done that for you mate - but am Heathrow based so I guess a little too far away.

I would suggest a complete driveshaft replacement. If the outer joint has failed - its likely the inner will be on its way also with excess play. You can get a complete assembled driveshaft from these guys http://www.jandrcvjoints.co.uk/ for less than £80.

Tried and tested by many members on here and very popular.

I've just orderd the outer cv joint not the full drive shaft

Never mind any way I would like to get this done before I go away on the 28th surly these some one close by that knows how to do it and can help

You should be fine replacing just the offending joint - my thinking was out of pure proactive maintanance

Hope someone local to you can help.

sorry to hijack the thread but I've been looking for a good price on the 120 drive shaft (signum), they don't list but do list the Saab 93 1.9 120 drive shaft for £50, would it fit?

Hi spelly if u could help mate that would be great just want to get it sorted as im going away not this weekend but the next and ive got the mum-law in and dad in the car and just worried as i just want to get it fixed for safty reasons more than any thing plus my little girl goes in the car pm me fella if u can help cheers
