My Vectra has developed an interesting but wierd feature when you turn the ignition off after listening to the radio when you turn it back on it sometimes randomly switches back to playing a CD. The headunit is CDR2006 anybody seen this??

mmmmmmmm maybe it doesn't like your choice of radio stations?
Hi mate. Exactly the same happens on my 3.2 elite Signum. Doesn't bother me so I just switch back to the radio. Like you said it's random so chances of getting a dealer to fix it are nil.
I too have CCR2006 and i think this has done it on me before, i just thought i was going mad though.
When i think back on my veccy B if i turned the ignition on and off relatively quick, the traffic master unit used to spring into life, giving it all that 'licence expired junk'

Then it stopped suddenly & never came on again, just the usual "LICENCE EXPIRED". I felt quite let down really cos I thought i'd got something for nowt!

does exactly the same on my retro fitted 2006 as well,
in fact its gets wierder.....if in cd it might start up in radio or not turn on at all some times, or any of the above combinations,
it doesnt really bother me, just hit the button i need again

Mine does the same, so did the 2005 in my Omega. It's got worse since I fitted my Nokia car kit, for some reason.
I used to have the annoying Trafficmaster thing on the Omega, too. VX said it was related to the voltages on the different pins when you started up, or something...

yep -mine does this as well on my 3.2 signum 2006 but I dont let it worry me too much
seems to be a common fault!! another one!!!
