    Default Wiring loom colour help

Hey guys, wondering if anyone can help me out please.
I have fitted a towbar to my 58 plate vectra sri and now need to wire the single electrics for my trailer. I have the 7 way bypass relay that came with the towbar and want to use that rather than buy the plug in one from vauxhall. Can anyone help out with the colour of the wiring please
    TIA

    Daz

Also forgot to ask if I can take the power from inside the boot as well, it would save having to run the cable from the battery.

Today is the first chance I have had to sort the electrics. Everything is ran in and bypass relay fitted, all connections soldered on and taped up. However I have a couple more questions if I may?
Does it matter which of the constant feed cables I take my feed from? There are 3 of them.
Secondly, it wasn't until I started I realised that the sidelights and brake are on a common wire, although there appears to be two bulbs being used for sidelights, I used the wiring for the combination one (the top bulb) as the bypass relay instructions say that you use only one wire, ie the one that is on the relay for the brakes connects to the combined brake/sidelight. The remaining two wires that would have fed the sidelights just get taped up. I assume something in the bypass relay senses the different signals in this one wire and switches accordingly.

If the car has a common wire feeding tail & brake, or tail & fog, the brown and black signal wires should not be connected to this common wire. ie For a common tail & brake combination, connect only the red signal lead to the common car
harness lead and tape up the brown and black. Similarly connect just the blue signal lead from the relay for a fog/tail
    combination.

    Taken from http://www.towsure.com/images/tagged...on_pdf-WK7.pdf

I'm pretty sure I have done it right but most important is which of the red permanent feeds to use, or any of them

As it turns out it was simpler than it looked. If I had bothered to check I could have just taken the light clusters out and checked which bulb was which by getting the other half to press switches etc. Then it's just a case of looking at which pin on the plug goes to which bulb!
If anyone has any ideas about the above please get in touch as I only have the permanent feed left to connect before I can hook it up to the trailer to test it.

    thanks in advance

All done and dusted at last, big thanks to Paul Wingnut for answering a pm from a newbie. It's nice that places like this exist, where people will give up hard earned info to people like me who don't have a clue.
    Cheers Paul, much appreciated
