    Trim : SRi

    Engine : CDTI 150

    Year : 2006

    Mileage : 103000

Default What's best to clean the chrome trim piece under the windows?

    As the title, really!

Mine looks to have watermarks on it, but I can't get rid of them. I'm assuming it is chrome painted plastic, so could using something like Autosol end up taking the chrome off, rather than just clean it?

    Any product recommendations?

    Cheers!

Nice one, is this the stuff you're talking about? http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_165527

Their 3 for 2 offer is on at the minute, so I'm tempted to grab a few bits.

Is the "chrome" strip not plastic coated ??? Or is it the plastic that you want to clean ?

It's whatever the chrome-looking thing is that separates the window from the door!

If it's starting to "cloud" you won't be able to clean it because of the coating. Replace them is the only option.

That won't be cheap... and I don't know if it's something I can be bothered doing in all honesty.

    I'll just live with it.
