I decided to leave this difficult decision up to Amy as frankly I couldn't be bothered lol, so after many hours (ok there may be a bit of an exageration there ) of laughing, crying, reading and re-reading of posts and a few "ahhhhhh that's cute" comments she has finally come up with the winner.

There were a lot of funny and good comments that would have been worthy of winning the unit and a few honorable mentions should be made before we announce the winner.

Honorable mention: @Mark Evison - We both loved your idea, but felt it was too far into the future to justify for this and we'd rather it went to someone who's going to use it personally. I do however have a fair old stock pile of Vec parts laying around and will happily donate a few and maybe a bottle of plonk or something to a raffle to raise money for candlelighters nearer the time.

Honorable mention: @Envy - Made us both go "AWWWWWW" and very VERY nearly won you it, but we felt it was just a bit "too easy" and whilst a great idea and definitely playing along with the fun aspect (thanks mate), you were edged out.

Honorable mention: @AVectra208 - Brilliantly executed and funny and we both laughed, thanks for playing along

And to be perfectly honest, the reason is two fold for the same thing. The idea of continuing this theme going is very appealing and Amy likes the idea of doing this all over again and picking another "winner"

So, assuming this unit works as expected when you fit it, we'll be holding you to this fella...

I have no sob story, will leave that for the big brother and x-factor fans above

But my CD30 won't play CDs anymore, and I have an ncdc2013 with paired screen sat in the cupboard i was going to fit... if I win this however I'll give the 2013 away, Amy can decide the winner of a similar styled thread after...

Congrats mate, hopefully it all works perfectly and you'll get good use out of it, let me know how you want to get hold of it (this is at your expense remember) and it's all yours.
