    Default Vx-line tourer CDTi..

I'm seriously tempted to trade in my Vectra Turbo for a nice VX-line tourer I have seen on network Q site. Spoke to dealer, got a good trade in price so the cogs are turning quickly in my head now!

I have read some shockers of actual mpg figures, are they really that bad? I'm used to 30mpg in the Vectra, but looking for a fair bit more due to extra mileage we now do, am I looking at the wrong car?

This car is really appealing as its net Q so extendable warranty for basically as long as I will have it, so peace of mind!

General opinions of the CDTi tourers would be great, also what are the common problems in them?

    Thanks in advance guys.. :-)

My old man has one, lovely, lovely motor. It's an SRi with full leather the 20" Penta's, sat nav and what have you. Very nice car and it goes well too. He lives as near as damn it 100 miles away from me and he can get mid 40's mpg on a run to us.

my wife has the es ecoflex 2.0 CDTi Tourer with some upgrades she gets 39mpg around town and schools runs. It has just had the manifold replaced under warranty as it was leaking water, 2.5 year old and 31k miles. Other issues are the apparently the egr water cooler as well and we did have a leak around the aerial but again fixed under warranty. it is an excellent car though, not sure the boot is any bigger than the hatch, but is slightly easier to get into.
