outside door trim

Hey lads and lassies, looking to remove the bump strip on my rear driver side door as some numpty scuffed it in the car park, want to sand it down and paint again or replace as this really got right down to the plastic. It's the strip halfway up the door. Any advice or links appreciated, have haynes but it ain't in it. thankS

The mouldings are double sided taped on. you can take the moulding off but you may disstort it. so i would paint it on the car m8 its easyer. or get a new one paint and replace old one.
