    Year : 2005

    Default engine temp

I could drive for hrs and my temp is still nothing . Only time I could get the needle to move is if I leave it in the drive with the engine runnin for ages. And I don't think I ever heard the fan kick in since summer 2010 think this will be the engine temp sensor but how hard is it and where is it on a 1.9cdti 8v (120)

    Any ideas guys ???

Sounds like how mine was - finally decided to do something about it as it was not causing a problem - thermostat. 25% discount on the part from VX with the masterfit card and my local garage fitted about £90 all in.

temp gauge now registers after about 5 mins driving and then does not move.

Although I can't remember ever hearing the fan kick should have got the sensor done as well
