    Default electric windows

Is there anyone with more knowledge than me with auto electrics, the wifeís skoda fabia 1.2 htp 2007 front windows stopped working (front electric windows only), I took the driverís door card off and checked for water ingress, shafing wires etc and everything seem to be ok, Now I donít think itís the double switch because the passenger door also donít work, unlikely they both stop working together, I donít believe itís the convenience control unit as I was told these are very durable/reliable unlikely to break as they are situated well away from wet and grime (but you never know), the thing thatís left is the window motor which has an integral control unit which also controls the other doorís motor. The question is how I test this motor to see if it works, there are no wires coming out of it so I donít know where to connect a wire run from the battery to test it. And also how do I check the windows double switch is working? I think all cars electric window systems are basically the same and hope your vast knwledge with vectras will be helpful as I dread what a dealer will charge just to look at it
    thanks.

Sorry mate, I didn't mention it but It was the first thing I've checked, I even put 2 new fuses just in case the old ones were dirty or didn't fit well. I am 90% sure it's the motor/control unit assembly but they are expensive to buy and I need to make sure it is the right part I am changing. apparently all VW, seats, audis, skodas..suffer with electics, had 2 vectras and never had a problem.
