I'm waiting for the prices to drop and the glitches to be ironed out and the mahoosive depreciation to kick in...and the battery pack to be replaced before even thinking of getting one
Only then will i start haggling :-)

TBH i'd have one for my 6 mile commute, and then a fun car for the weekend.

Like all electric cars, they are simply not practical enough for long journeys. Also the so called "Enviromentally Friendliness" of them has a lot to be desired.

Firstly, they need to be charged from the mains and how is the electricity generated??

They use Lithium Ion batteries that have a lot of extremely poisonous checmicals in them.

They use "Rare" metal magnets which create a lot of poisonous chemicals during the production. Ask China as they dump the toxic waste there.

Yes it does look nice, but at 25K (while government grant still exists) and precious little chance of any decent numbers on the used market, it may become a white elephant. Not helped by the lack of a national chargepoint network, and its relatively unproven technology.
