1.8 Engine bays

Right gents i want to do something with my engine bay but dont know what! So what have you done to yours? Would prefer to see what the 1.8 boys have done but any comments welcome cheers

No insignia engine bay pics atm but my old vectra bay is the same will get a picture up tomorrow of the insignia

Well thats all i can find for now. Basically i want to know if the black around where it says ecotec can be painted? then i want battery cover airbox and fuse box all painting but what colour?

i cant see why it cant be done tbh mate, is it plastic ??? i know a fair bit of heat is produced but if done right i cant see it being a problem...

Go retro, paint the black plastic around the ECOTEC lettering, red (harking back to the XE)

Carbon wrap the battery box, airbox and associated bits and bobs?

Body colour the battery box, airbox etc...?
