Default Vibration through car at 2k rpm onwards, only under acceleration??

My CDTi 160 has started doing this, it feels quite bad!!

it's not tyres or wheels as they have been checked....its in the garage i bought it from now, but they cant find anything wrong, so they are taking it to local Vauxhall dealer tomorrow for further investigation.

My thoughts are driveshaft related, either damaged, worn or the balance weight has shifted?....or engine/gearbox mount, but surely they would have seen this??

    Anyone else heard of this?

I have a similar vibration on my car I read on insignia enthusiast that a bloke had the same problem with his.its sounds like he put something between the air filter box and bulkhead and the problem went,so today I've rolled a microfibre cloth up and stuck it between them went for a spin couldn't feel it but will not know till tomorrow when it goes on a run if its done the trick.

Yeah i had this....mine just made a knocking noise on start up and on gear changes as the engine moved... dab of grease on the rubber airbox mounting and it went....very common problem....not sure it would cause the a vibration through the car though....

There is no noise with it at all though, non of the normal clattery racket associated with a DMF on its last legs.

I had that as a squeak when the car was started, found it to be the airbox mounting, and sorted it......it's not a noise i'm gaiing, the whole car shakes.

That was my thinking, either that or something driveshaft related, but surely the garage would have seen that without needing to take it to the Vauxhall dealers?

Accelerate when turned left and right, if the vibration gets more aggressive then CV Joints a good shout.

mine is doing this also the car vibrates really bad under acceleration. Did it slightly for past couple of weeks, but just put lowering springs on today and its much worse now. No idea if its coincidence or not im thinkin its gotta be driveshaft related also?
