Morning chaps.
Thought I would enlighten you all of my morning so far! After my mum's car having a flat battery and dropping my dad's car off to have some work done I then met a pre facelift silver SRI on an icy country road. The old gent kindly pulled over for me to pass and I pulled past. As I started to drive off I looked behind me to see he was stuck, as in front end in a ditch.
I reversed back to help, finding it very weird that the one car I would meet would be the exact same car as mine, just pre facelift, and mine is the facelift model.
The old boy couldn’t get it out even with Dad and I pushing, so I decided to jump in myself and give her the beans. Backwards, forwards, 1st gear, 2nd gear, left and right. It was a diesel SRI and seemed to pull rather well and after about 5 minutes it jolted forward and was free.
The old guy was extremely thankful and I was going to ask if he was a Vectra-C member, but after seeing the length of his nose and ear hairs I decided to leave it.
Was extremely glad I could be of help to this guy and made it even better that it was another SRI Vectra C driver.
Cheers - and stay safe in the snow!
