Glow plug tip snapped off inside, so the heads gotta come off.
Questions are whats it worth replacing whilst the heads off
ie: head gasket
any seals etc please

New head gasket is a must. Also new head bolts. Might as well throw on a rocker cover gasket too.
could do the valve stem seals

So your determined to take the head off over a glow plug tip.
Unless you mean the plug its self has snapped off in the thread ?

Ok with rings goes a
re-bore
with that a
crank grind
with that a set of
main bearings
might as well do the
DMF
then the top end
Valve seals
also the
Hydraulic tappets
dont forget the
head gasket set
including new
head bolts
I left a load of other stuff off that's probably ok to clean up
inlet manifold
and
EGR
dont forget the
water pump
and
timing belt kit
you will need.
Anti freeze
erm
Oil
and
Oil filter
Sure you don't want to fish it out with a magnet ??

Ok you mean whats left stuck in the cylinder head not dropped inside the cylinder ?
If you take the head off all you actually NEED to do is a new head gasket and bolts. Oh and coolant coz its drained, might as well change it. No point in trying to reuse.
Have a search their will be local company's who specialise in removal with out taking head off and also for a fraction of the cost
