    hi guys,my 2.0 dti estate 05 reg,is reving up and down when idling,this causes fumes to enter car as the exhaust is under rear seats and not out the back.it also sometimes misses the beat when driving,though not all the time.no dashboard lights showing (fault lights),appreciate any advice,thanks

    how do u blank an egr off ?and do you have to get the car mapped,appreciate any help guys

    On the DTI, I don't think there is a suitable blanking plate - that only applies to CDTI engines.

    Not sure about the Vec-C DTI, but the Vec-B and Astra 2.0 DTIs would go into limp mode if the EGR valve wiring or vacuum pipes were disconnected.

    Its easy to disable egr by mapping on most 2.0 dti's (which use an EDC15M ECU) but not the vec-C as it has a PSG16 ecu/pump control unit. As far as I know, only EDS have the equipment and experience to do these.

    u can also do tje psg16 with a mdi unit matey get the ori open it up with whatever software u use then can delete from there but must stress it only works with a mdi unit

    Good to know, but a bit out of my price range it would appear! Do you have one? Also where do you find the ori? guessing they must be on the tech2/mdi flash cards??
