Coolant temp sensor

i have a 2008 1.8 petrol sri

where on this engine is the coolant temp sensor?

also...........does anyone have a part number for it please?

The temp sensor -located on the thermostat cover just to the front left as you look at the engine. its in the thermostat housing,remove wiring harness and you will see it

Now the you know where to look you can get the number off the old and confirm it against the parts list for the replacement. Also you can use that site with your chassis number to narrow things down.

Its at the rear of the thermostat mount, which is the plastic part that that the thermostat housing mounts on too.
