    Default just joined the gym and had a good work out.

    so tonight went to gym first time in a year need to loose this weight now lol so me my mate done half hour on the bikes Burnie g a good 280 calories then we done some stretching and ouch that hurt lol. after that was onto the a rope that u pull down which killed me and couldn't hardly lift much weights after that 15kg all I could lift which I was shocked about but I will get there.

    Good effort.

    I have never been able to pluck up the courage to go to a gym, I feel quite intimidated by the whole thing! Could do with shifting maybe half a stone or so, so going to have to find something to do. Did take up running a couple of years ago, which I quite enjoyed, and managed to build up to doing a 10k, but then had to give up due to a dodgy joint in my foot.

    Small steps mate, ease in gently and build up. Too much too soon and you'll do yourself an injury!! I'm trying to get back into gym routine too at minute. Doing interval training which is more intense over shorter periods hard going but feels good after...

    I rejoined the gym mid Jan to lose some weight when your my size people do like to have a look but at the end of the day you just got to think f*ck em

    lost a stone since most of my weight loss has come down to watching what I eat though I joined a site/forum that records the food you eat and tells you how many calories eaten and how many left ect its really handy and not like trying to stick to a diet I still go chippy and get the odd curry just have to balance it all

    yea am 18 stone so really need to shift some like you sod them like.
    I do eat salads chicken etc and pasta. but often and too often have junk food. I will look at that site cheers.

    i went to the gym we the brother in low and hes a power lifter i tried a little and by god i couldn't even get out of bed i was that sore but once you get back in the gym and start working out again the pain goes away well till the next day lol

    snap m8 thats what I am now weight wise

    oh and pasta is a killer when you look at the calories in it, that site will give you a few days trial put in what you have eaten today and you might get a shock lol
