I have same problem code, started getting it after fitting a brandnew GM temp sensor and thermostat. My thermostat works fine and the sensor but now its working again it must have triggered off something else. Apparently you should only clean maf with 100% isopropynol alcohol. Or some say electric contact cleaner. Someone else will say which but deffo not carb cleaner!!! Even if you clean the maf they will not spring back to life, ive just bought a tested 2nd hand one of ebay £12.95 if you want item number. Have you disconnected maf and drove to see if it feels different???

Did you use Tech2 or Opcom to reset the adaptive data in the ECU? You need to do that when replacing the MAF or the O2 sensor.

No nutron, i have a thread open on this issue and people say it doesnt need it, as the 2nd hand maf will already have dirt particals on it so no need to tech2 it as this may cause probs, only do that apparently with a brand new maf, and then some cars dont need it and can learn the new maf and self adjust in 20 miles...???

You should clear the data so it can learn the specific MAF/O2 combination but you do as you please.

    It could miss read.
O2 readings are based on MAF values.
