decat pipe help
Just got a decat pipe for my 1.9 cdti siggy 120 but ineed to know if mine has a diesel partical filtter or not if not my pipe won't fit .the pipe I've bought comes straight of the turbo if that helps and lastly what sort of gains am I goin to get thanx

The other way to tell is the plate on the drivers door but I can't remember which code is dpf and which ain't....
If it says 1.20 on the plate then you don't have dpf if it says 0.50 then you do!
And I believe the 120hp codes are 1.30 haven't got dpf and I assume 0.60 and you have?

Don't think so pal I've got the haynes bible out and it say that some do and some don't
I'm just remembering of the top of my head from when I checked mine! Although I wouldn't take a Haynes manual as gospel lol there usually awful!
The code on the drivers door plate should work though :-)

Found a sticker about half way up the drivers side door piler and the only number that look s simeler is 0.50 is this the right number
Yeah that's the one I believe that means that you have got dpf

Are you referring to the precat or the main cat which your de-catting? Perhaps a link to the part you have purchased?
No link I'm afraid but I know that it comes straight out of the turbo and conects to theflexie pipe section if I'm right siggys have two cats on them so its the first cat I'm decating starting from the engine
That's the pre cat then :-) the second cat will be in the middle section underneath your car! I think for best results you need to lose both!
Personally I'd probably get the dpf out as well because they seem to be ticking time bombs waiting for a failure
