    Default Pictures of my new car :)

    Design 1.8 VVTi 140bhp








    Just needs a damn good polish with a machine.
    can i use one of those 5" polishing attachments that go on a right angle drill?

    the whole car needs a machine polish to remove car wash swirls :@

    any ideas?

    you'll either need to see BLR123 and get a PC hand polishing machine, or you'll have to get it mopped up with a big Pro machine..but re-machining the paint is about the only way to get rid of the car wash swirls....My 'tame' bodyshop mate did my GSi all over for me for 40 quid when i got it, now it's just got road rash....

    so most bodyshops will do it will they? i did think about getting it mopped but wasnt sure if it would be too harsh?

    not if they use a fine liquid... mine was badly swirled, so he used G4 on mine..

    Stick a post up in the detailing section and someone will put you right on the products to use for a spot on job....

    Nice car , and colour. As said above do not use an angle grinder / drill to polish it, experianced guys use this technique, but you will probably make it worse, or even strikwe through !! A PC with is an orbital polisher is the beby, or have a look on detailing world for a detailer near you to come and give it a once over, then good washing technique will keep it as new for a good while. I PC`d my astra, what a difference it made, and it was brand new, they come with free swirls from VX ...
