    Default ISO to Quadlock

    Hey all,

Considering buying yet another new head unit for myself.

I have been looking at these factory fit units and really like the looks of this one...

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2611558674...84.m1423.l2649

My one issue about doing this is my car being half can bus. In otherwords I have ISO conectors and not the Fraquar Quadlock type.

I found this on ebay and wondered if it would work with the above head unit (and allow for the wtearing wheel controls to work)....

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-I...item3f1348897f

I contacted the seller but they have not got back to me yet. Has anyone tried this at all?

Don't know the answer to the question, but love the look of that headunit, makes me wish I didn't have a CD70 NAV unit

lol... The CD70 is a great bit of kit also.

Looking at the pictures the front looks flush fit (without the crease in the middel) so Im hoping it will sit nice in the vectra....

Im assuming that as the head unit is designed to work with can bus vectras somethign which converts the ISO loom to can bus loom to work with a standard cd30 for example should in theory work with the head unit.... My only issue is its a £200+ gamble if I can work this out for sure!

im sure the headunits arent affected by half canbus and full canbus.

the iso to quadlock - this is achieveble as the they also do the quadlock to iso connection.

the unit looks ok, but imo........you get what you pay for - same as folk buy the eonon / xtrons touch screen with all the toys - they dont last too long coz the touchscreen goes etc, so its false economy.

i've been there with the xtrons one and will never buy the cheepo again.

I had thought this also. My worry was when I noticed the CANBUS box of tricks included in there lead. Now this might be just to filter out the connections or allow for the stearing wheel controls / GID screen to work etc.
