Mine has never met in the middle since i got the car and I can't for the life of me figure out why because its shaped to the bumper and it fits everywhere else???

Is there a bit in the middle missing or is my bumper that mis shaped from the previous owners scrape (has broken a bumper clip so it sticks out a tiny bit) that it will never fit properly?

You can kind of slide it in a bit from either end. Look inside the bumper infront of the radiator and you will see a hole where a securing bolt should be to secure the two sides together (open bonnet and look down)

There is meant to be a clip in the middle, similar to the ones that secure the wheelarch lining to the bumper.

This elusive clip! From the top does it look round and black? Coz I just had a quick look when I got home and there's something in it but nothing attachs to the splitter?!

As I said I can't get my meat head under it and I have no jack or ramps :-( so I just had a good grope lol
