Default 3 Points for using a Mobile

Not sure if this has been mentioned.......heard on the radio today that in the end on Feb there are bringing in a law that if you get caught on your mobile in the car you'll now get 3 points and £60 fine...............

Damned right too if you ask me.

Handsfree kits are not much these days.

Tis a fact and quite rightly so IMO. Hands free kits are widely available at reasonable prices nowadays. I passed a guy in a brand spanky new orange Range Rover Sport the other day and he was chatting away with his phone to his lug. Now if I can afford a Parrot kit I'm damned sure he could with his sixty odd grand motor or however much they cost.

Yep, can't agree more. The cost of handsfree/Bluetooth kits is not much these days. I'm actually surprised it's taken them so long to bring in this change.

As you say Gary, I've also seen people in very expensive cars with a phone clamped to their ear and wonder the same thing. If you can afford a car like that, why the hell can't you get a handsfree kit?!

    ABOUT TIME TOO!!!
I'm totally pi$$ed off with idiots (mostly in big Mercs & BMW's) who wander all over the road whilst on the phone, sorting paperwork, writing etc etc. Had one in the outside lane of the M6 on friday coming from Birmingham, phone on his shoulder, pen in hand paperwork on the steering wheel. He moved over, slowed right down until he had sorted whatever he was doing then booted it past everything again

I'd like to see a camera that could catch people doing that. FAT CHANCE!!!
