    Cheers das
do you think its worth a stab for £13 trying to resolve the P0170 code issue? The car passed mot last week so emissions are fine but mpg isnt brillinant.

£30 for about 110 miles, if you can convert that. Lol, ive put new temp sensor and thermostat on so thats sorted. Just this now. When i unplug maf it drive the same as when plugged in! So im thinking thats the culprit, and with that code too. If it is the maf would that cause low mpg? Thanks m8

23 mpg, roughly, yes thats sh*t!!! Worth a try, if the MAF is forked, it may be over fueling etc.

try a second hand one. I just got one from a breakers 45 instead of 260 from dealers. fitted yesterday. before car ran ok until up to temp then intermitant, low down pulling power, then would come on strong. 0.6 / 0.9 showing on computer at tickover. now smooth all way through revs and 0.1/0.2 on comp. may explain bad fuel consumption.. hope this helps..
