Default Interior lights connected to warning system?

Sorry if been covered before! The interior lights including boot light, are they ok to take normal leds without resistors and be error and strobe free?
And number plate i fitted leds didnt have bulb warning but they still strobed!? I didnt think these was connected to warning system? And is it worth doing internals?? Pics welcome especially of boot are all bulbs same or different voltage? Cheers

Cool, do you get spares or something? 501's for plate, 2 501's for interior front light, and 2 long bulbs for boot and glove box? .... But theres more bulbs there, what they for? And are they just normal without error resistors? Do they still blink in plate when lock car? Cheers

    Iirc
    2 x 501s for rear interior light
4 x 501's for front interior light (if you have map lights)
1 x festoon for boot light
    1 x festoon for glovebox

I've tried fitting smd 501's to my rear interior light and it makes the front switch off altogether?!

I have smd in the interior light and they don't strobe. I'm planning finding a source in the car to run my sidelights and number plate ones too

Dash lights cable is on the alarm button on the dash I was goin to hook up my drl's to there with a switch. Also means if switch is left on they will come on with the keyfob, but if its just led, bulbs then no switch they would run all the time.....I was puttin a switch to turn the drl's off at night

Number plate LEDs WILL strobe but no warnings, Side light LED's WILL strobe and may give warnings, Interior lamps with LED's do not seem to strobe and don't give warnings BUT the rear interior light connections are different when using LED's, you need to make sure they aren't cheap LED's with wires on both faces of the LED, only one wire per side will work, or, use a circuit board design.
