    Default rear interior light

    ribbon wire in place but no light, do i need front map light for it to work?

    just cut the hole, feed the plug, pop it in place and bobs your mother brother. BTW go to VX and get the metal cage, its cheap, doubles as a template and holds the light more securely. Im sure the part number is in the how2 section.

    anyone know how to get the 4th button on the maplight to turn the rear lights on when youve wired them in yourself?

    it is.
    Easiest way to get it is getting one with 4 buttons from ebay. I had 3 buttons and couldn't find a way to remove the blind without messing it all up

    But that dont turn off all the light ;-) only the front when the doors is open, the Rear one Will still be on....

    Ok Ken, I knew I had read somewhere that it was an "OFF" switch rather than a rear seat "ON" switch

    Might be, come to think of it, I haven't really noticed my rear lights ever been on. Might be switched off or not working at all - I might want to check that at some point.
    anyone happen to know how to re-fit the buttons in the front light without bending the springs every time?
