Soaps and pubs!!!

Why is it, has anyone else noticed that in soap world most of the whole village/street/town or whatever spend 7 days a week in the pub! And its normal. If i did that in real life round my area i would be classed as scum of the earth and a alcholic! Lol, but in soap straight after work and on dinner breaks the go to pub!

Aye. As far as I can tell noone who lives in the Casualty/Holby City world ever goes home as they're all doing double shifts and then the pub every single episode.

You do realise it's not actual real life, it's a TV program.

They also don't swear, which is quite ironic, as they're ****!

Lol i know keif, but it makes it look like life is so simple and nobody has health implications from drinking all time! If only eh! Lol, its meant to be potraied on real life on a street or whateva but in reality real life is nothing like that, pub everyday. Oh and when they fall in love or what eva they just up sticks and leave! No worrys about mortgages and bills and work and abroad visa's, they just go! So simple. Lol

......and they never have tea or coffee in Eastenders as they always go to the cafe and nobody in Eastenders has a washing machine either!

I feel quite posh as I have both in my house lol
