    Hi guys

i have ordered all the bits for the mod other than the cable and the connectors that go in the quodlock for the back of the cd70.

Did you order the kit from ebay, if so, it comes with the pins you require. If not i'd suggest popping to the scrapyard and cutting the quadlock off. I'd be surprised if they even charged you!

No I had to buy the bits myself as the guy on eBay is so slow at replying! Im hopefully going to film the process to make it easier for people to do and maybe do it for people!

When you say cut a quad lock off do you mean take it apart and reuse some pins? I think I may have one in the shed if that's possible!

yeah, that's the one. If you use sewing pins you can remove the pins from the old quadlock and just pop them into your own, extend and solder in the jack socket. The Aux in mod is VERY fiddly and a costly mistake if it all goes wrong. The components are far smaller than the SMD's used in changing the colour of the dash and some of them are VERY hard to get to. The guy who sells them is also a member on here Good luck.
