    Default Hid fog lights

Hey all, is anyone using Hid fog lights? I was thinking of getting a set for my Vectra but I was wondering if they are a good idea and if there are any error problems although my car is already setup to use Xenons. I won't be one of these people that drive about with them on all the time, just have them on when need but a good set of H3 5000k sounds good to match my other 5000k hid headlights

I've got a set on, 35w 6k, they don't seem as bright as the old bulbs but I've only done it so they match the ones in my dipped beams.

My mate done it to his prelude. I rememeber the were seriously bright to look at but i dont think they did much lol, mind you i think that was because light source had moved, if you got the shorter hid bulbs they might be brighter and very effective in what there supose to do, shorter bulbs should move light source bank to correct point! They are 4-5mm shorter and the idea was to put the light source at same point as philament of a standard halogen bulb

I think I'll ponder on it for a while Might get the H3 kit that comes with shorter blubs but I wont be using them that often anyway, as long as I'm seen when it's foggy, that's what really matters and matching light will be a bonus

I'm running 55w 6000k in my dipped beam, 35w 6000k in my fogs, nightbreakers in my mainbeam...
Running error free kits from HIDs direct...
The light at night is truely awesome...
I'd never go back to normal bulbs again... well worth doing...

I have the 35w 5000k kit in dipped beam and Night Breakers in High beam so thought a nice set of 5000k H3's in the fogs would match nicely. Seems a lot of places don't do a H3 5000k bulb with there kits and Hids Direct actually don't list a H3 kit for a 2002 Vectra C for some odd reason but that's not to say one of there other kits won't do the job all the same
