    Default Pointless sensor?

Ok so i cant really take a picture since is dark at this time, but i have a sensor that's not connected to anything, coming out of what seems like a wastegate or pressure regulator next to the MAF sensor on my car. Has anyone these on their 2.0dti? It just seems weird i have a sensor thats just sitting there. Ill get a picture up tomorrow

Sounds like your talking about EGR valve, you got any warning lights on? I know a few of the guys on here have them removed!

Is it behind the airbox? If it's what I think it is, it's the barometric pressure sensor.

If it's the one I think it is, it literally just monitors air pressure but you might be on about another sensor (it's a few years since I've had a DTi!) so I'll let you know when it's light enough for a picture!

Ok i got the pictures for you guys, one sensor and one vaccum tube with a weird ending. They just seem like they are out of place sitting in there.. Like if something was missing:

In your last picture, the sensor on the right is the atmospheric pressure sensor. The one on the left is a vac solenoid, possibly for the turbo. I had a 2.2 DTi and they were on the other side of the engine bay. They had a few different ways of routing the vac hoses too. I'd pressume what you have pinched in your fingers is some kind of filter but I'm not 100% sure on that.
