    Default DRL question

    Hi,

Im not really a fan of the aftermarket DRLs, but Im possibly thinking about getting some.

I don't want to spend a fortune on them and have found these two...

Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=370729813072

Is it as simple as wiring them straight to the battery? Is there anything else involved, such as relays or switches? I guess I would want them to come on as soon as I turned the car on.

Also, would I need to take the bumper off or could it be done without doing it?

    Carl

Fuse F10 under the bonnet is ignition controlled, use it if you don't have afls. A relay to knock them off with the sides isn't a bad thing. I didn't take my bumper off, i removed the undertray and went from there. Mine.

Don't bother with either of those mate, very poor quality and lasted only a couple of days on mine before water ingress killed them, seller refunded though.
These are better from this seller, E marked on the glass so legal and much better built, i had these first which lasted about 11mnths.

Iknow they look identical but are better built, glass lens, thicker cable, and watertight E4 proven, only problem is the wait to get em from china was about 20 days.
