    Default Centre arm rest vents..

Had these for a while now but never actually working.

I installed all the plastic ducting from the blower unit to the vents already..

Question being is there a different blower unit needed for these or is it literally to cut out where the ducting goes onto to get the air supply to the rear

I understand that there is a different distribution pipework for the cars with the rear vents. So you may not have actually plumbed into anything.

My understanding is it's a different unit under the dash completely, a few people have tried this now and I don't think anyone's got anything but a tiny tiny puff of air coming out of them if they weren't factory fitted.

To be honest, even with the rear vents as standard factory fit (eg on my Elegance), you get a pathetic amount of air out of them, even with the blower fan on full. I think the ducting is just too convoluted and small to get much air to the vents. You're not missing much...

That's because I copied the wrong path.....

    Should be.
VECTRA C / BODY INTERIOR FITTINGS / AIR CONDITIONING / AIR CONDITIONING UNIT AND HOUSING

It does list both with and without the rear console forced air ventilator, doesn't say if there's any difference of the actual unit, just the casing.

I'll second that, got them in mine from the factory and they really don't chuck much air out at all although at least it's something I guess.
