Since i go the car last year it would average 44mpg on the motorway (driving at a steady pace) but the sudden drop in mpg after the rolling road made me curious to what would have changed since it had been the rollers ?
So what is disconnecting the battery going to do? Why would that up the mpg?
I understand that it resets the learning of the ECU back to factory settings. It will then re-learn your driving style. I am assuming the use on the rolling road with heavy acceleration may have told the ECU to run slightly "richer" if you will be suddenly demanding full power.
