    Default Face-lift SRI wheel referb

    Chaps.

Our facelift SR estate wheels are in desperate need of a referb.

No real chips out the rim or anything, but bad curbing where the spoke flares out a little (pre us buying the car).

Looking at what my options are really. Id be happy to DIY try a referb - but unsure of the method that people use? Any how to / tips here. Specifically - preping the wheel for spraying, then what paint / laquer etc?

Failing that - I am in the Ashford Middlesex area - anyone know of anything localish where I can get them done.

A bit of an issue is that the car is used all week so cant really send the wheels away as I have no other set to put on them.

    cheers

harrys pace over at slough ive seen there work and been impressed its called Autowerks but you would have to ask if they had wheels you could borrow and they give a discount for vec-c members
ive tried refurbing wheels and whilst they looked better they wasnt as good as a total refurb and dont forget you would have to buy all the materials as well all adds up!
