offers-autotrader .com anyone had dealings with them ???

As you know my Signum is up for sale . put it on Autotrader yesterday and received this on my phone this morning .is your signum still up sale I can pay£55oo cash and collect tomorrow . go to Offers-autotrader .com . SCAM or legit ??
Do they come and offer stupid money after saying we will give you £5500 .

Sounds like a scam to me. There is a dealer offer section of eBay, but they only do standard cars. The website looks ok though, and nothing on google to say its a scam. Maybe email autotrader and ask

I haven't had that one - but I did put a car on just before Christmas and was inundated with scam emails, from people in Nigeria,others living miles away in the UK and wanting to send an agent to collect it - paying me more than I was asking for, etc - I complained to Autotrader as they were passing these messages on through their messaging service - but they didn't want to know. Be careful or get back to AT and ask if it is a genuine thing.

My mate sold his ML on ebay and had some fella from Uganda call and offer him just under the asking price, alarm bells rang straight away. My mate just said I only want cash and a couple of days later some agent fella from London came and collected the car from his work and paid in cash, he even agreed to go to the bank to pay the money in with him as he was sure it was a scam but wasn't this time. Restored the faith! Was great with this agent fella as he didn't care what was wrong just said heres the cash and got off.
