Help with EGR valve please?!!

Hi all, wondered if someone could help with a small problem I have? Was out tinkering with my Vec this morning (2.0dti) and was removing the EGR valve to clean it when I dropped my ratchet on it!!! It had to land right on top of the top hose - am I right in thinking this is a coolant hose?

Anyway it's split the metal 45 degree pipe thingy and when I start the engine it starts leaking coolant everywhere! Can't help thinking this is my punishment for telling the Jehovahs at my door this morning I wasn't a believer in god!

Can you tell me please is there a way to replace that connection or repair it or is it a new EGR valve jobby?

Any help would be appreciated cheers.

Hi mate, had a similar problem myself, had the pipe soldered back on so avoiding costly new parts, any decent welder should be able to do this for a couple of quid.
This is coolant thats leaking so get it sorted sooner rather than later. Cheers Pete
