glad it's sorted mate.
Just a quick question iv been looking on here and my hids arnt as bright as others iv seen is that because there only 35w and not the usual 55w? Would that make a difference?
also does anyone have a picture of the correct beam pattern or theres up against a wall etc i can look at?
no problem m8, did u let them burn in yet leave them on for a good 15min, also i have raised mine slightly which would make them look brighter i guess, as far as i know the difference between 35w and 55w is not noticable mine are 35k
Yeh iv left them on for aboutbhalf an hour, just have a gander at this and see if it looks right, baring in mind my cars on a slope so it may look high......
55w vs 35w agree not much difference a bit brighter, apart from the light on the 55w set will degrade quicker than on 35w meaning that in a few hundred hours of use they will be the same brightness as the 35 w set whereas the 35w set will stay the same brightness longer, what temp did you go for this can have a huge diff in brightness, also get yourself down an unlit back road and you'll see how bright they are. plu you are judging brightness from a few feet away, when you see other cars your looking at them from distance.
from pics looks right for 5000k set
There 6000k 35w
Is the beam pattern right? Where is there a big bright blob in the middle of the pattern?
mines are 5000k look same, apart from blob of light, I was wondering about the splash of light, shouldn't there be one on the left as well, you might be right when you say the passenger side isn't as bright.
