Post 150 cdti OBD results......any ideas??

    Hi,
I have written down some results from my ODB reader, can anyone tell me if these values look ok ?

    MAF is 14.00 at tickover.
    Boost is 2.3 psi @ 1500 rpm and 4.7 psi @ 2000 rpm

I have found that if I unplug the MAF sensor at tickover there is no change in idle speed or rough running either, it just ticks over normally, if I try to accelerate the revs are retarded and wont go high.
I thought that if you unplugged the MAF it affected the tickover dramatically? can anyone fill me in on this one?

I have now got boost in all gears for the first 2-3000 revs then boost seems to drop off dramatically.

I have cleaned the throttle body, cleaned the inlet manifold out, cleaned and blanked the egr, cleaned the MAP sensor, the inlet butterflies are all working fine, there does not appear to be any air leaks in the boost pipes and have swapped most of them for new........but still the boost is not what it used to be, the car is pulling very well on boost in first and second gear but drops off as you move through the gear box as if it is being retarded in some way?

Have I missed anything out that I have not checked or cleaned,

I have been pretty thorough with all the cleaning work I have done so far and there has been a massive improvement in performance to how it was but it is still not feeling like 150 bhp like it used to.......

Anyone think of anything I have missed>?
    cheers

    Default

The MAF is same as mine at idle without EGR.

What is the "boost"? Is that the ECU desired vacuum from the BCS to the VGT actuator? Booth these values are below atmospheric pressure so are vacuum pressures. It would make sense for them to rise with increasing load i.e. less vacuum opens the vanes in the turbo preventing over boost.

My code reader does not display a value called boost in live data mode. It does tell me the MAP reading in the manifold though.

I have a bit of live data stored in my code reader. I've seen you're other post so if I get chance tomorrow I'll put some wide open throttle values on here for you to compare.
