Knocking

Hey guys, just a quickie, i lowered my estate a couple of months back and it soon after developed a knocking noise, its a 58 plate with 78k on the clock, ive just changed the drop links and the track rod ends, but the knock is still there, it sounds to be coming from the strut top? But all is tight up there. Has anyone experienced this before, could it be the shock mounts? Is this a common thing to go when you lower a veccy???

Check bushes on wish bones at front and upper suspension arms at the rear. On my second vectra and both, at about 76-80k did the same.

You won't notice anything with the weight of the car and rice of the springs unless you get the wheels off the deck. Then lever under the wheel to creat up and down motion and you'll feel the free play. Might get it too with a good firm rock of the wheel.
