    Default How to get rid on RainX??

    Hey guys

    brought some rain x anti fog/steam for internal windows. Well i followed the instrutions and my windows are worse than EVER!!!! A slite steam up ends up with loads of smear marks n looking like a sorna!! How do i get rid? Ive cleaned and scrubbed but its still there.
    this stuff is S**T !!!

    I think youre ment to use it on the out side of the windows.

    as said you use it on the outside window mat. i use it all the time and never had a problem with it....

    If it's anything like the exterior stuff, then it's a nightmare to remove. Have read of folk using Nitromors and all sorts to try and get rid of it. Have to admit, I tried it on my last car, and hated the effect.

    Solvent cleaner like tarcand glue remover, be careful not to put it on dash, i hated it when i used it! Worked great first time out in rain but when it starts to be less effective and you have to use your wipers, the skipped ovr the glass and didnt really wipe glass, i used paint thinners and white spirit to get it off

    Traffic film remover and some autoglym fast glass. Seems to remove the exterior stuff!

    Halfords do a heavy cut glass cleaner that removes window treatment, its pretty good apparently.
