Abs problem

hi all i have a 2007 1.9 cdti 150 vectra and the abs light is staying on when i drive when you put ignition on and start it goes off as should and there are no fault codes but the minute i drive away it comes straight on ive replaced two front hubs and am now confused as to what the problem is please help lol

Coould be dirty connectors or abs pump mate

Could be rear hub have you had codes read it will tell you which wheel problem is coming from

yeah it was coming from front n/s wheel but ive changed both front hubs and problems cleared and the minute i unplugged machine light came straight back on but the function is correct as the light goes off as should then minute you drive off it comes back on i never took note of codes before i cleared them

The Ecu does an initial test when ignition is switched on and another test when vehicle goes above a certain speed. Because your static test is ok it would
seem the problem lies with the hub. Was it aftermarket part as there have been problems with these.

as posted on another thread-

you find that 1 of the front harnesses has a break in it,
your best getting tech2 on it to see which side is faulty
but id put a bet on its a front harness that goes from
the body to the leg,this is a very common problem as
the harness gets unde stress and stretches
on the turning of strut.

i have just replaced both not long ago as my car was insurance write off but the thing for me is i changed one hub and the fault was then on the other one and i changed the other one and fault cleared but now have this issue they were not genuine ones but q/h ones but i would think if this was the issue how come only one has come back at fault ? cheers
