SRI Height

Does anyone know is there a difference in the height between the pre-facelift and the facelift SRI's? Had the womans car beside mine today, hers is PFL and mine is noticeably higher in the front so i measured just on my leg (didnt have measure tape to hand) and theres about an inch or a bit more difference from ground to wing arch. Mine has 225/45/17 and hers has the standard 215/50/17 so if anything that should bring mine slightly more to the ground than hers! The back is the same height on both cars. Her springs are not broke and look like standard ones and i put one new spring in mine 2 weeks ago and its an SRI spring so i know mine is standard..

I think you're going to have to get a whole lot more specific fella. Exact spec of the cars being compared for starters (engine size, year, version etc) and then next, the measurements from centre hub to wheel arch on the cars being compared.

After that, you will probably attract some input matey

The 2 of them are SRI 150BHP, the womans is a 2005 Pre Facelift and mine is 2006 Facelift, the 2 of them are standard and the rears are same height but mine is over an inch higher both sides in the front!! Ill get a measure on them both tomorrow

Ok just got measurments, from center of hub to wing,

On my car the 2 front sides are 380mm

rear left is 360mm

rear right is 355mm

on the womans car

the 2 sides front are 360mm

rear left 360mm

rear right 355mm

so 2 rears are the exact same but her front is 20mm lower than mine.......

just measured a friends vectra cdti Design Pre facelift and hers is 380mm on the front both sides and 385mm on the rear both sides..

because your bits have to be lower than the wifes

could be shocks are worn on the wifes

theres 15 mm between sri/sport and normal spec equipment weight no doubt will change that depending on how much extras there are
