It doesnt appear to meet the VX specific GM LL, although it says Comma recommend it for engines that need this. The GM LL spec's are to allow the oil to meet 20k/ecoflex service intervals. However if you do not wait 20k or 2 years for the ecoflex service light to come on before changing the oil and filter it will more than likely be perfectly acceptable.

I am a 6 monthly oil change guy too, imo its the best way to lengthen the life of any engine. How much is that oil, as Dexos 2 from the dealers can be had for about £19 for 5lt.

My local VX dealer will not even try to sell it at retail, £42, he said if he did he would not sell any. He sells it at trade and claims it back from VX. Keep an eye out at Asda, they often do great one off deals on oil. Best Ive had is £16 for 5lt of Mobil 1 5/30 and £10 for 4 lt of 5/30 Castrol Magnatec.
