Lots of water from exhaust 1.8VVT...strange!

My brother in law is worried about 06 plate vvt sri vectra, done 55,000 miles, tonite after driving 3 miles he rang me and said he has a leak, so much so a woman walking passed pointed out all water. The expansion tank is still full and no radiator leaks. On further inspection and turning engine back on, the water is coming out of exhaust! About 2 pints circling the tip and dripping flow... Any ideas guys? Im lost with this one. Cheers

Its too much for condensation surely, to be pointed out by a passer by.

Head gasket ? Has he been washing it with a hose/power washer and filled the exhaust with water - is it running ok

I would say a build up of condensation after lots of short journies, or water in exhaust after washing. Take it for a good long hard run, get the exhaust and cat really hot.
