what is it with dealers not budging on price?

just rang 4 different dealers for an ac re-gas all saying £49.90 non will budge on price 2 even spoke to the manager who said no.

so i have it booked at an ac specialist for £40 **** the dealers.

But with a Masterfit service card and the 25% discount (if car is 3 yrs or older) it's less than £40 to have the work done.

£37.43 if my maths is correct.

dave i did ask but they all said i cant use it! they all made excuses as to why sating its for servicing only. i rang 4 dealers arche moss, drive, pentagon and i cant remember the 4.
