faulty sensor was advised changed that and its still not working

was advised if it wasnt the sensor it could be the wiring

what were the codes that were read?

    what engine do you have?

    what is the mileage?

    What year is your car?

The more information you can give us the more likely we will try and help, we cannot read your mind!

Once a sensor has been replaced the EMS should realise the fault has been rectified
However, it can remain logged and live for up to 10 engine starts
It can help to take they key out, walk round the car, then restart
I find this is usually enough time for the EMS to reset
Another is to disconnect the MAF, start the engine, switch the engine off, reconnect the MAF, take the key out, lock the car, wait 10 minutes, and then restart
