Hello from Plymouth...

Well, after using this site on an almost monthly basis when I owned my 55 facelift Vectra 1.9 CDTi 150 SRI I'm glad to be back. Site was great then with help and photo DIY's to solve issues and to kill time and glad to see it’s still going strong

Since last year I’ve split with the wife and lost the house, car and usual with it. Hence my absence from here.

Now though I'm back! My old man, seeing his 35yr old son struggle getting out and about with his two daughters with a motorbike, bought me my first car. A 53 plate 2.2 petrol SRI!

For its age it is in ace condition save for a worn bolster on the driver’s seat and a slack gear selector...and some knocking (which I believe I have solved using this site again) and a duff battery (probably due to it being sat waiting for me to pick it up for 6 weeks).

So here I am, again. Live in Plymouth and driving a cracking if not thirsty 2.2 SRI. Chris

Welcome back bud, getting back in a Vec is clearly a sign that your life is on the up! Although depending on your viewpoint the split with the now ex may have been that point!

Cheers guys. My first car at 34. Is that sad or lucky that I've been saved the expense. I have had cars before but always in my partners of choice name. At the moment it's likes ground hog day what with the same problems and glitches being fixed.
