    Default Pedestrian right of way.

Fair play, as far as I'm aware, people on foot have right of way except on Motorways.
However, being in the right and dead profits no-one.
Had a string of them lately around here, tonight's (3rd in 3 days)was an adult pair (male /female) of joggers, after dark, who seemed to feel they should not be expected to break step for a simple thing like green traffic lights.
The car at the front of my line turned left, the car in front of me turned right, the car opposite and myself tried to cross the junction, and both of us had to brake because the joggers just kept going.
There seems to be an increasing idea that a car can stop in 2 inches from 20mph (high street limit). How many broken bones will it take, I wonder, before they understand the law of physics.

i think you are spposed to give way to predestrians crossing the road into which you are turning, need to check the highway code

10 points for a jogger, +2 for spandex. 20 for a cyclist, just 5 for children.... Lol!

Pity you can't just knock them down. I have lost count of the number of times pedestrians have looked up and saw me approaching, driving either car, truck or coach, and just walk out in front of me. They know I will not just run over them because of the bother I would be in, and that if I phone the police they will be long gone by the time they arrive, apart from that try and prove it.
    3.2 v6 Signum and loving it 😁

    Default

Road is for cars, pavement for pedestrians, simples
If everyone stuck to this there wouldn't be a problem, but many people step out without looking.
